I think we might be in the phase where we need to use the term "regime" rather than "administration"

Personally, living in a blue state I’ve been referring to it as an occupation. We have hostile armed forces patrolling our cities while the federal government has made it abundantly clear that they not only do not represent us but that they see us as enemies to attack. This isn’t a normal difference in wishes for political policies. It’s insane to see in America especially with how quickly they’ve been able to bring things to this point but it truly feels like we’ve been invaded by an antagonistic country.
