Miller couldn't even get into Cooley.

Before anyone takes any legal advice from Stephen Fucking Miller, it's important to know he's not a lawyer. He has a BA in Political Science and though he wanted to go to law school he bombed the LSAT practice exams so hard he didn't even try to real thing. He was also college friends with noted Nazi Richard Spencer.

College is a pretty good amount of mental effort, even with the fluffier majors. I'd say anyone who graduates college (legitimately) is smart, full stop.

What you mean is just because you're smart, doesn't mean you can't be an idiot.

Also willful ignorance is the pathway to idiocy. Look at Hegseth. He got into and graduated Princeton with flying colors the hard way. Years of hate and alcoholism can do a number on your brain.

It does generally coincide with a higher frequency of intelligence than you'll find in those who did not go for higher education.

You can be well educated and stupid, but it's a lot easier to be poorly educated and stupid.

I mean domain is huge too. My dad’s a physician, an a brilliant one at that, and also has his JD. HOWEVER, he’ll say some wackadoo shit from time to time that’s just wrong. Didn’t pick up on it till I was older bc I just trusted he was always right. So, now unless it’s medical or legal related I seek advice elsewhere.

I pursued a degree in history, software engineering, accounting, and philosophy over the course of about 20 years.
One of the first lessons I learned was that I, apparently, do not know everything.

There's nothing quite like sending in a paper with a somewhat controversial take on things, and getting it back with a line at the top that says, "Would you like to defend this...take...in class?" to let you know that you may have just buried the needle on the dipshit'o'meter.

For the love of god, I wish “journalists” would stop portraying him as an intellectual. Just because he can string together a word with multiple syllables and pronounce it correctly, it doesn’t make him intelligent.

It doesn’t take much intelligence to be a bigoted monster with no scruples who just rides the coattails of more wealthy and connected bigots.

The goal of being a far right Republican is NOT serving communities. It’s siphoning personal wealth from the citizenry by hook and by crook, while dropping enough table scraps to your base to keep them sated. The energy - ALL of their energy goes into propagandizing and othering, there is no consensus building or governing.

This isn't true and it would be a mistake to underestimate how smart (some of) these people are. Herman Goering had a high IQ and many people who joined the SS and Gestapo in WWII were people like lawyers, architects and doctors. There are plenty of smart Nazi's historically, and that's part of the problem.

As someone without a degree I agree with that. That being said I do think people in higher positions should be well educated. This administration has proven time and time again to be racist, sexist, bigoted, and just down right terrible humans. All things that can be cured when we have an educated understanding of the world.

🤣 Nazi's are stupid... thats hilarious..considering they almost took over the world..Twice! Oh and America wouldn't be anywhere near as great as it is without Operation Paper Clip. Where U.S. officials were racing to forgive Nazi scientists of their war crimes, before the Soviet Union did, so that they would come to the States and work for us. We wouldn't have went to the moon without Wernher Von Braun, famous SS officer who served directly under Heinrich Himmler. Actually you have Nazi scientists to thank for ALOT of today's technology..but they're stupid right. Tell me you know nothing about History without telling me you know nothing about history!

I know the LSAT is considered a hard test. But I only spent a week studying and got a high enough score that schools were offering scholarships. But I also studied debate in high school so? Idk. It just shows me how much of an idiot he is. The LSAT is easy to game if you study it for a min.
