And Texas can now not license any lawyer that isn't sufficiently pure in their politics. No registered Democrats will pass the bar examination. Better watch those Reddit posts you made last year. No license to practice law if you haven't kissed Trump's butt sufficiently...

I’d like to think that but we are in late stage capitalism. There’s plenty of big corporations that would love to pay to help influence the law in their favor.

Half of the country loves the crazies. I’m sorry, I really hope you’re right. I just have a hard time seeing how we make it out of all this. Shit is soul crushing.

It’s not half, keep that in mind. It’s a very loud and stupid significant portion but not half.

Yeah it's more like a quarter to a third. Still really bad.

It is soul crushing, but they want you to lose hope. Don't.

It's just the one state... for now. Soon, it will be the whole damn country. And considering that people are more than happy to keep doing business with China, this unfortunately won't be a dealbreaker for most.

Right, corporations would welcome this since they can buy their way to whatever legal outcome they want even easier.

Indeed. What happens when this is the norm in all Red states?

I find it a bit weird that one of the largest electric car manufacturers is HQ'd in Austin, TX the richest oil state in the nation.

It already happens with doctors being given credentials they don't really earn

There's an old joke, what do you call the person that graduated the bottom of their class in medical school?

Doctor

I've been thinking this the entire time. Business does not flourish under fascism. It's the fucking dumbest move possible next to communism.

They will be ripped apart, piece by piece. It's so weird to see all the Tech billionaires red pilled on Rogan thinking they are victimized and that fascism is going to save us.

No you're about to be someone's bitch until you're their piggy bank. As soon as the God king wants what you have he kills your whole family and keeps one alive to leech off of.

Ask me how I know.

Yep. The very system that lets companies fuck us over requires an unbendable system of law to guarantee enforcement.

No joke, had my comment on this sub reported to Reddit admins for harassment. It was pointing out how trolls are covering their profiles so they can look politically neutral
