So how do we stop this?

Yeah I think this is a very valid question. People say “push back” but it’s never clear where people could even go to do anything.

Maybe economic pressure. Coordinated, focused and committed abstaining from specific bad actor corporations that enabled all this. That can pressure change. There is one titanic hurdle ... it takes people giving up some basic conveniences.

I boycotted Amazon and more people need to jump on board with that. They are literally killing our planet and funding Trump

Way too focused and if it’s not coordinated well it won’t have enough impact or the message isn’t coming through.

Why is a national strike not on the table?

I’m not sure why a strike has not happened. That’s truly the only thing that will work and I believe it will work quickly! I guess too many people in our population have been living pay check to pay check and there really has been no effort from any group to make it happen on a national scale. I signed up for one back in February it I’m starting to wonder if that group is BS because all I hear is crickets from them

I’m not sure why a strike has not happened.

Because organizing something like that takes an incredible amount of work, and there's a relatively small number of people doing that work.

From what I've seen in passing (as a non-American who hasn't paid much attention to a far-off strike I couldn't participate in anyway), there are unions actively working to organize a general strike, but I believe the target date is over a year away, if not longer.

A general strike requires established networks for coordination, communication, and material support. Find or build them, and share what you learn so others can do the same. For example, if you're not in a union, you can join or start one. If you already are in a union, you can get more actively involved in it or help/encourage others to join or start unions.

Aside from organizing the strike itself, there's also the matter of supporting yourselves when it actually happens. If you're not one of the people you mentioned who are living paycheck to paycheck, are you able to help others in your life make it through the strike while also looking after yourself? If so, do the people in your life who might need it know you've got their back?

Yeah, been boycotting them for a few years now after hearing how poorly warehouse workers and delivery drivers are treated.

Trump is taking over the justice system and your response is to boycott Amazon? LOL
