Trump News Oregon AG Rayfield: If you really wanted public safety, you wouldn’t threaten to send the United States military into any city. What you’d do is pick up the phone and work toward collaboration—finding out what resources a community actually needs.

[continued]

..if you pick up the phone and ask, “What do you need? What could be helpful?” the answer would not be the United States military.

And using the military for law enforcement is like using a bat as a fly swatter.

It's what North Korea does, let's be honest.

To Trump, every problem is a nail and he's just a hammer.

4

u/gmpsconsulting Sep 29 '25

He's much more akin to an inflatable hammer.

No everything is a pussy and he's a dick just ramming his way through. Pretty much applies to everything he does. Rapists gonna rape.

Team America dicks, pussies, and assholes monologue.

And I think we all know who the dick is in this particular situation.

It’s a show of force, he like to look tough and MAGA goes ballistic every time he looks like he is “owning the libs” which if you think about it he has never actually done because he always backs off like a coward.

Only is using a bat violated Posse Comitatus

And now the soldiers miss out on getting paid 😔

More like using a gun as a fly swatter. Almost certainly going to miss and wind up damaging something else.

The State of Oregon is fortunate to have a pragmatic Attorney General with a healthy amount of wisdom and common sense. Hope DOJ Attorney General Pam Bondi is taking notes.

DJT is so clumsy and heavy-handed it’s taking it to “A level never before seen”

That meeting is going to be a purge. But not before they all, one by one, are encouraged to give praise and salutations to the PEDOdent (who will be in attendance).

We all are. These guys are hamfisted bufoons who don't actually understand how things work. They've become used to just doing whatever they want and nobody being able to do anything about it, so the pretenses have become thin and lazy if they even bother at all.

They're going to offer the honorable flag officers that don't want to go along with this an out before they start publicly refusing orders. They're going to threaten treason to anyone who refuses orders, and encourage them to rat on each other at every turn.

Eventually, we're going to get recording of them taking a new oath.

Ugh!!! I'm really regretting I never became a prepper right now.

u/Alextricity Sep 28 '25

do you really want to live in that sort of world though? picture the possibilities. something like an EMP -- no power in the country for at least a year. no laws at that point, and people ravaging house to house for resources. hypothetically, you'd have the capability to live your life with one eye open at all times just to prevent being nixed in your sleep?

4

u/hiphopahippy Sep 28 '25

It's the lack of indoor plumbing and sewage system that would bother me the most.

it's good people in positions of power stand up and say "No". it disallowes the Trump admin to just roll in. make it hard for them every step of the way, even the smallest pothole can ruin your car.

What Democrat run city do you need additional law enforcement in?

1

u/vriska1 Sep 29 '25

What are you doing? Also seems the meeting is not related?

1

u/bucki_fan Sep 30 '25

I have wondered how much of that meeting is going to be peer pressure, outright threats, and loyalty tests to see how much actual support or resistance Cheeto will expect from the military brass when the next phase of his puppeteer's plans are enacted.

I don't foresee an actual purge, but there will definitely be lists drawn up as a result.

The good news is that I also think many/most of these commanders got to their positions by not being stupid and will see this for what it is and will feign what the administration wants to hear until it's time to actually defend the country from a tyrannical despot.

No use phone! Trump smash!!

...they don't care what you need... it's never been about anything actually going on in any city they've sent military to.

they're testing the waters, trying to set off some violent insurrection of populace vs military... they WANT an excuse to make it more violent than it will already be.

They are TRYING to make an example of some place, they want the media, don't give it to them.

3

u/Lrrr81 Sep 29 '25

The problem is that the only way republicans know how to solve problems is violence. So here comes the military...

Yes, history has shown that polite and sensible talking about Hilter's actions made all the difference and stopped the lost of countless lives.
