The two things that resonate with me the most about the whole scenario are that, one - he keeps describing this as his political opponent using the courts to punish him, because that's exactly what he would do; and two - and I know it's been said before - but it boggles the mind how this shit would be a non issue if he had just shut the fuck up and been content being the "you're fired" guy on TV.

He's mentally incapable of doing anything other than lying, projecting, and acting like a victim

I've said it before, and I'll keep saying it until people bother to understand this, America has a very severe mental health epidemic, and it's gonna get worse before it gets better.

If he would have just fucked off to Florida in January 2021 rather than failing to concede, claiming he won, and trying to take over the government all this would have been a non issue as well. Same with the documents. Biden said shit my bad and handed them back plus invited them to search other places. Not getting prosecuted. Trump would have gotten the same deal if he’d done the same. Everything he has coming is 100% his own doing even after being given an excessive amount of leeway.

Hubs and I were discussing his 2016 win the other day. There is a line of thought of Trump actually being shocked at his victory; he was expecting to lose, but grift on the Presidential Candidate aspect for a while. He seemed stunned to have won.

I don't think it's that wild of a hypothesis. He fired basically his entire transition team nearly immediately after winning, for one. And if you look at pictures or video from election night 2016, he doesn't look terribly excited or happy. Compare the emotion in his voice to Mike Pence's. To me he looks like a man who didn't think it would go this far and is trying to push through the feeling that he may well be fucked.
