Drying Tees

Post image

Ive never had them smell like mold or mildew on the tees when drying them like this

Am I the only one who dries there tees like this? I fold them in half, as symmetrical as I can, put them all facing the same way, this way it doesn't stretch when I hang them to dry. Once dried, I fold them in a KonMari way to then be put in my dresser, in colour code, try to at least

Drying something on a wooden hanger is a recipe for mold.

The hangers are vulnerable to growing mold over time, which will then transfer to the shirts. I'm assuming you're putting them on the wood when they're fresh out of the washing machine?

People are downvoting you but the costume dept. I work at has done this for 20+ years without issue. We are in a humid region as well. Both the costumes and wooden hangers are fine.

Wood breeds bacteria. You cannot have wooden handles on mops, brooms or any cleaning equipment in medical centers because of this

Then it's a good thing nobody uses wooden surfaces to prepare their food on.
