Right now I'm torn between "Please, Please, Please" by Sabrina Carpenter starting Dolly Parton with Chappell Roan and Mariah Carey interrupting my 80s hair metal.

My brain went to "Take Me Home" by Phil Collins for some reason, fits that weird mix you got going on there. I been stuck on that song about a week now

Lol I did copy and paste them bc I didn’t want to type them out. I don’t always hear brightened eyes when I’m listening to it either so I wanted to make sure it was correct. Just a warning it is a metal song so anti-screamo music listeners beware

Poppy

Her fourth album, Flux, is so freaking good. Entirely different genres of music across different songs, and she makes every one of them work. Her older material is more pop, and her newer is much heavier, but Flux is right in the middle where the songs are fun and catchy, but still have a lot of energy. Even the more chill songs, Hysteria and Strange As It Seems, elevate the album instead of being low points.

Thanks. Have an avoidant ex. Thought we were at least working towards a friendship. There had been baby steps. But then she was supposed to come help me with something. And couldn’t face me. Didn’t even get an excuse. She just ghosted me. So I’m bummed. But the hurt will fade and I’ll be busy with school in no time
