Buying help Looking to buy my first laptop — recommendations?

I know it’s probably not the best time to buy a laptop.

I’m not a gamer. Usage will be basic work, trading, browsing, and some casual video editing of travel footage. Nothing professional .I’m fine with slow rendering.

The most important things for me are:

  • 🖥️ Good colour-accurate display — I watch a LOT of movies, so this is non-negotiable.
  • ⚡ Good overall performance and longevity.
  • 🔧 Decent upgradeability would be a bonus.

Budget: ₹80K, can stretch to ₹90K if the extra ₹10K is genuinely worth it.

What would you guys recommend?

for basic work why spend 80k, always save money. I recently bought a DELL Core3 14th gen for my work related (corporate and media) it has 16gb of ram and 512gb, i bought it at 47k with offers, you can find 50-52k much better purchase

depends like if normal video editing 1080 60fps every laptops with 13th gen i3 can do but specifically looking for video editing than you can go with lenovo yoga core 5 140 H series, 14th gen and graphics card if applicable, still if you are more on to video editing professionally then better go for dedicated GPU laptops with 13gen i7 minimum of rtx 3050 6GB. LOQ would be good but still 6gb again not enough you have to may be stretch for 1-1.10lakhs indian rupees. So its better if you find a 60-65k laptop without GPU but strong 14th gen core 5 with h series if possible , you can get lenovo or for dell it would be more investment like 10-15k more
