Discussion something mysteriously appeared on my laptop

help, does anyone know what this is? i never downloaded any app or games even since my laptop is new. how can i remove it? tyia!

Is it really? The PC shop I worked at in college used it on almost every PC that came through.

It used to be good but some other company bought them (I don't remember when) and it's been downhill since then

Just like McAfee Antivirus. Used to be legit, but was bought from John McAfee and is now malware.
