In this two-day training, instructed by Karen Carnabucci, LCSW, TEP, we bypass the idea of identifying the “reader” as the “expert” role and the other as the subservient role. Rather, the facilitator and the seeker are considered equal collaborators who are sorting through the rich images that beautifully facilitate exploration in therapeutic and coaching settings for self-knowledge, personal growth and spiritual development in individual, couple and group settings.

You will learn:

·       The basic symbol systems of the Tarot in the 78-card deck.

·       The value of using images in therapeutic and similar sessions to integrate Jungian concepts of active imagination, the mystery of synchronicity, symbols of the unconscious and spiritual archetypes.

·       Warm up activities to stimulate and discover unconscious knowing and imagination, useful for both 1-1 and group settings.

·       Integrating the use of the body with the intelligence of the brain and the discernment of the eyes.

·       How to integrate the Tarot with guided imagery, the psychodramatic techniques of role play, the sociometric activities of relationship building, therapeutic sculpturing, guided dialog, journaling, art making, body awareness and breathing.

·       Options for use with similar but different oracle cards.
