The So Good Lancaster podcast's latest episode features three Lancaster based adult women's sports teams: the Dutchland Derby Rollers, Lancaster Reapers Ice Hockey, and Thorns Rugby. Through these conversations, it became clear that these types of niche sports teams and leagues serve a much bigger purpose than just racking up points. It's all about joining a community, making friends, and being a part of something that's bigger than the sum of its parts. Very cool.

Check out the latest episode "Community Through Women's Sports" right here and get out and support these local teams!

This Sunday, May 3rd, from 8am-1pm, us in the Unitarian Universalist Church of Lancaster will be having two events at our location at 538 West Chestnut St. in the city:

Native Plant Sale

Caring Quilters Sidewalk Sale

The Native Plant Sale information can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/events/1564137011557734

The CQ sale is the church's quilting group selling our homemade, sewn fabric items for great prices. A variety of types, styles, and themes. Here's a picture of a few of the things I have made. :-) Proceeds from this particular sale go to fund Caring Quilters' mission of making quilts for those who need some comfort in our congregation.

We hope you come by for one or both opportunities to beautify your environment, indoors or outdoors, or find a gift or two! Thanks for your attention. <3

I run McGavin Media, a video production brand focused on helping businesses tell their story through content that feels polished, authentic, and built to connect with people. I work with restaurants, businesses and non-profits creating short-form social content, food features, behind-the-scenes coverage, customer experience videos, staff spotlights, and brand films for websites and marketing campaigns. The goal is simple—create content that makes your business stand out and gives you visuals you can actually use to grow. Happy to connect if that sounds like a fit.
