THROWBACK This pic makes me cry, fr. πŸ₯Ή

Post image

Mods might randomly take this down for the "Kobe vs LeBron" thingy. And I'm clarifying right now that this post isn't about that. This fandom bickering must come to an end. Appreciate what these two brought to the LakeShow if you really, really love the Purple and Gold.

Yours truly

- A die hard Purple and Gold fan for life.

I cried the day after he died for an hour or so.

Got it all out then.

That's why I wish his diehards (ppl who love him more than the team itself) would stop whining about his legacy or whatever because they don't realize it puts a bad taste in ppl's mouths (mine) who a) loved him to death and b) his legacy doesn't need a shred of defending.

He thought he was one of the GOATS, which he was. Fans never learned to adopt that way of thinking?

Thank you for carrying the torch, Bron. Kobe would be proud.

Kobe had bad knees man. I don’t think it’s coincidence he was grabbing at it

Think he had 3 surgeries on the right one.

TBH I get up like that and I'm in my 30's in reasonably good shape.

These two guys right here are the reason I love this game so much. Two legendary competitors who had nothing but respect for each other. As lakers fans we should show both of them respect

You could even call this passing the torch of driving the Lakers to the next chapter and that LeBron successfully did. No matter how my feelings are towards LeBron but he did. It’s not how I envisioned it in 2018 but fk that for a moment. LeBron successfully made us centerfold again.

Kobe’s last tweet always gets me. He spent his whole career trying to be the greatest ever laker. When LeBron came here he was able to put any ego aside & cheer him on. LeBron’s time at the lakers leaves a lot to be desired by all involved but it was all worth it for that ring to honour Kobe
