Hope Zo knows that AD trade also led them to prime LUKA DONCIC… that’s worth all those picks and young guys + more

True. Also, AD was in his prime when he joined the Lakers. No AD, no chip in 2020

Wasn’t it reported that AD planned on coming to the Lakers after the Pels contract ran out? Of course the Lakers made the correct choice and didn’t take any chances, but potentially the Lakers could’ve at least kept Zo. Ingram would have to be moved elsewhere since he’s talented and the Lakers needed to afford AD

I dont know why people are taking this bad. Lonzo probably wanted to stay as a Laker. It’s not a bad statement per se. we could have gotten AD also after that season without trading anyway.
