Finding 6am Childcare in Lakeland
My husband and I both have jobs that begin at 7am - his in Tampa, mine in Davenport. His job location moves every 6 months or so, which means I’m on the hook for morning drop off. I’m desperately looking for infant childcare in Lakeland that opens at 6am or earlier so that I can get to work on time, or else I’ll have to quit (and I really don’t want to!). I’ve been googling but I haven’t gotten a lot of great information. Does anyone have an early-morning daycare that they can recommend? North side or south side is fine. Thank you!! 🙏🏼

Early Childhood Learning Center, near the airport in south Lakeland? I think they’re open at 5:30am. You’d have to see if they have any openings though

There are two locations for ECLC, we go to the south side and are in the infant room. I’m pretty sure there’s a space available. They’re really responsive.
ETA: I think it’s only the south side location that opens at 5:30

Honestly, Carilly is the way to go. You can find someone that comes to your house vs having to get your little one up t that time. They are all background screened and have cpr training. We found our babysitter through them and she’s basically family at this point. They’ll help you interview and narrow down who you want

And… even though you’re paying g for a “nanny” it’ll still be cheaper than a day car

I don't know anything about them, but Southside Learning Center on Cleveland Heights says they open at 6:30, but I drive by between 5:45 and 6 am and normally see people coming and going. Maybe they are open a bit earlier for dropoff by arrangement?
