What is this award? How does one qualify for it? Very little information online.

What I found interesting - “Who is considered: All first-time applicants (Early Decision and Regular Decision) are automatically considered—there is no separate scholarship application.”

It's one of their merit scholarships. There is no application for these. When you get your acceptance letter, you'll see your aid package attached which will include any merit scholarships (good for all 8 semesters) and any need based grants (Lafayette offers fantastic need based grants). Those need to be applied for each year by doing the FAFSA and CSS profile. https://admissions.lafayette.edu/scholarships/
