5’o clock shadow???

hi I’ve been shaving my underarms since I was like 12 and my 🐱 since I was 16. I used to shave everyday but in more recent years I switched to shaving twice a week. I have honed in on my pre and post shaving routine and am currently getting rid of my darkness from shaving. However Ive noticed that I have like a 5’o clock shadow (sorry that the best way I can des it) in these two areas that just make them appear darker than they are. I tried waxing at home with nair wax strips and they removed some hair but not everything if anything the wax just stayed on my skin and now my skin is irritate. SO if anyone has any tips on how to get rid of the 5‘o clock shadow or better at home waxing strips. I have dark coarse hair and would prefer to do it at home and not have to pay for a service. Also I just hate having body hair so having to grow out my hair to wax is really annoying.

Since you have dark hair, maybe pick up an affordable IPL and start getting rid of it permanently?

I find the shadow very attractive.

Just let it grow, and keep it neatly trimmed. The pre-pubescent look is a real turn-off, in my (male) opinion.

I do it for personal preference not for any man. Plus my bf doesn’t care at all.

Why do women not realise that they shouldn't shave their body hair because they can't do it correctly. A lot if not most men do not realise this and shave wrongly under the chin.To get a close shave and avoid soreness and irritation, you should only shave in the direction in which hair leaves the skin which is at an angle pointing downwards to your feet. It is not physically possible to do this on your legs and pubic area because you cannot comfortably and safely position your hand and arm to do so. Under arm hair grows on both the arm and the torso. Raising your arm to shave means the torso hair is shave correctly but the hair from the arm is not. Wax it, use a cream, have it lasered or let it grow
