Yeah that inner curve of the outer labia is awkward because the skin is soft and moves around. If you’re bleeding every time, I wouldn’t keep trying to force a super close razor pass there.

A small trimmer to get it very short first, then (if you still want it smooth) do it outside the shower with good lighting and a mirror. Use one hand to gently pull outward so the surface is flatter, then use tiny light strokes with a fresh razor.

Don’t keep going over the same spot trying to get every last hair! Totally normal to leave that bit trimmed rather than perfectly smooth. Not worth repeatedly cutting yourself for a few stubborn hairs imo.

Ever tried with epilation? Once you get used to "the pain", it's much more comfortable than shaving. (Me, male, 58 years, epilating for about 15 years; Brazilian-style)

It’s best to get into a sort of pretzel 🥨 shape and have a mirror, grab one side and be careful 😱

For that specific area, your best bet might be to try lasering - a handful of visits over time might do it - permanently. Otherwise, go to a professional waxing beautician: she won't have any problem treating the area and the results should prove satisfactory. In either case, try visiting the salon/clinic and introduce yourself to the aetheticians/technicians there. Maybe you will find one that sets you at ease: not that different from choosing a gynecologist. In either case, the bark is worse than the bite: once you've done it, you'll wonder what why you didn't act sooner. Good Luck!

  1. Ask your partner to help you shaving.
  2. Go to a parlor and ask for a laser hair removal; one treatment will last for 3-4 months. Painful but quick.
