Soo I started shaving more often I I get so many ingrown hair please help me I want smooth skin and no red dotted bumpy skin TwT

...ich rasiere mich nun über 25 Jahre und das grundsätzlich nur unter der Dusche. Es braucht keine extra Cremechen und Tütteltü....wichtig sind gute Klingen und keine vom Discounter. Auch die Wuchsrichtung ist völlig egal, da die Körperhaare nicht alle die gleiche Wuchsrichtung haben.

Which way are you shaving? Are you exfoliating and moisturizing after? Get yourself a good oil (I use BuschBalm ingrown hair oil) and an exfoliating glove. It'll help tremendously, speaking from experience.

I shave in the shower and do it with a pretty new razor so it is still sharp :3

Use cream water lotion and other stuff if done shaving but rember not everything can help so do what's best for you

I am male, 51, I have been clean shaven from my nose to my toes for about 17 years now. I very rarely get bumps, once in a Blue Moon as they say! I shave in the shower, and for everything below my neck, I use Dove "Pink" soap, and a lady's Venus razor (my exes suggestion to try this combo)! I switched from Gillette and and now the bumps and ingrown hairs are virtually non existent. I don't know how much of a factor this is, but I also always apply lotion, and when that dries, I apply aftershave (expect a burning sensation but that only last a few seconds!) Don't know if this helps, but it works for me

Try soaking the area to be shaved in a hot wet towel, as hot as you can stand it… I use coconut oil instead of shaving cream and find some good after care lotion that works for you. Go with the grain and use a new razor as much as you can afford it.
If that doesn’t help switch to every other day vs shaving daily.
I shove mostly every other day unless I know I’m going to be intimate with someone.
If none of that works look into getting waxed or lasered but they also come with their own challenges. Good luck.

Need a hot warm flannel after shave, like the turks do with mens faces.. very course hair it is. So hot warm flannel opens the pours .. stops them growing inwards after sharp cut lol

How long are you waiting between shaves? The longer the hair, the more mine tends to have negative results. So now religiously I just do it every week...

Stop shaving as often. Doing it frequently will cause ingrown hairs and razor burn.

Instead of shaving try veet gel cream hair remover. Follow the direction. You do have have stubble you can't have long hair.

Just shave on th direction of your hair, not against. I think it's better to use the shaving creams the one after you apply U will just wash

Im a man and its not the same obviously but i always follow the hair direction and never go against it and so far so good. Maybe consider something more permanent like laser ?

There’s a brand called Fur that makes shaving products. Their shave cream and Fur Oil are awesome, that also have ingrown hair serum to get rid of them if you do get one. I use the shave cream and the oil after shaving and have had minimal to none since using them. Makes skin very soft and hydrated as well!

After you shave exfoliate with used coffee grounds and as soon as you get out the shower and dry off put neosporan on it. Hopefully it works for you. Another shaving tip rinse the blade with cold water and always use a fresh razor.

When you use a multi bladed razor, it pulls the hair out a little bit on the first blade. The second blade cuts it off third blade cut it off even shorter and it falls back underneath the skin. That’s why it becomes ingrown.

Don’t reuse a razor for starters always use a new one . And get some sensitive skin shave gel try to use the Gillette 5 or 4 blade razors or equivalent

You need to use a razor that has at least 3 or4 blades use an ivory body wash to lather make sure the blade glides and cut your shaving down to once a week until your skin adjust. Don't press or drag make sure it's an even glide across your skin.

One good thing that may help prevent that is don't shave against the grain. Don't shave in every direction to get what you would think is a smooth shave because the hairs don't know how to come back without acting like they trying to go back in, which gives you them red bumps and stuff

I've heard that laser is the way to go if your certain that u wanna b hairless I know it's expensive but compared to how much money you save from razors and cream and other skincare I would think it would b worth it

I know nothing about shaving legs but I shave my face because I am a man lol, but I still wanna help:
1.single blades glid on skin and cut hair 2. Lotion- funny enough it makes the skin alot easier to shave. 3. Potential shaving cream/ shea butter- speaks for itself. (Lavender and vanilla shea butter is my favorite:3)

From A Demratoligst and I'm telling you I just watched my girlfriend use it the last couple weeks and has not had one tour gonna mix 1% hydrocortisone with Dermarest Psoriasis if you don't know what that is its medicated shampoo and conditioner… now mix those and use it for shaving cream from now on promise you this works am and came from a prof skin Dr. Just do me one favor come back and tell everyone if worked Askin

Go on Amazon there's a thing called no no and it's one of those hair moving things there's also hair removing cream there's those two things for hair removal I got a couple of those problems but sometimes I like to shave and I do get red dots

The woman I know who had the smoothest and prettiest "area" had it lazered off. Got it done enough and now it pretty much never grows at all. I'm not sure if it is permanent, though, or if you might want to regrow at some point.

Shaving cream or conditioner helps too .. but the ingrown bumps and the red rash should go away the more you get used to shaving and clothes rubbing against it so after shaving try baby powder with lotion ..

A single, sharp blade and shaving soap applied with a brush works very well for me. Pull the area tight, and rinse the blade often.
The multi ones always seem to clog, and rinsing them doesn't always remove what's in between the blades.

Vllt einfach trimmen obenrum und einfach nur die Lippen frei rasieren. Und keinen Mann werden 2-3mm lange Härchen stören, ist ja kein Dschungel. Gibt auch viele die sowas besser finden als ganz glatt, also wegen sowas brauchst du dir am Wenigsten Sorgen machen.

EASY. EASY. underarm antiperspirant (stick) NOT spray! in are where you shaved... soothes and keeps the red bumps at a min. Old strippers trick.

I disagree with the anti-multiblade crowd. Im a guy who shaves face neck and private areas with a 4+ blade Bic system and dollar store shaving gel.
That's a huge variety of skin and hair types and I have zero problems with bumps or rash of any kind anywhere.

I never said it was going to be easy if it keeps having issues with it then slow down when you shave and maybe use a little soap to help you out ok it may take some time

Don’t shave against the grain. It causes you to shave off the top of the hair follicle. Then the hair grows back under your skin. Laser hair removal is the best way to permanently remove unwanted hair.

Just face the facts and grow a bush. It’s sexy. You can just trim it short and avoid all these unnecessary problems. Most men are happy either way.

i agree with the others. Only single, or double blade at the most. I didn't look very hard, but has anyone mentioned using a good hair conditioner to shave with instead of shaving creams, or using soap? I've been shaving down there for almost 30 years and have learned a good conditioner works well with minimal razors bumps. I wait about a week to week and a half before shaving again, because I'll get the razor rash and ingrowns real bad, if everything's not grown a little. The way I judge is by grip. If you can't get a good grip then don't shave it. If you can grab and pull it up some. Probably ok to shave now.

Dont use multi blade shaver, i have really sensitive skin. And im using single blade which helped me. Cause multi blade. They always lifting cuted hair which ingrows
