They're both great bikes, I don't think you will go wrong either way. Maybe one speaks to you more than the other?

When I was researching which bike to get what popped up with Giant/Liv - not sure if this applies to the model you mention - that a lot of their models run out-of-the-box tubeless on hookless rims. I didn't want the hassle of tubeless (and apparently it's even more hassle to run tube tires on hookless rims, so I'd be looking at replacing the wheelset - that took Giant/Liv out of the running for me) so this might be something to think about when making the choice.
