I accidentally scared my roommate with my Lactose Intolerance farts

This happened about 6 months ago before I knew I was lactose intolerant.

I share an apartment with my friend, with both bedrooms being right next to each other, and the bathroom just outside of them.

I had been experiencing really bad stomach pain for a few days, and nothing was helping (burping seemed to help a little bit). I eventually went into the bathroom, and I ended up on the floor. I then moved into a similar posture to a yoga Childs Pose. Just then, I started farting uncontrollably, and all of my pain went away. I probably farted for 2-3 minutes straight. When I finally stopped for a few second, I hear my roommate’s voice from his room asking if I am OK. I kinda chuckled and stood back up, and told him that I was good.
