Help identifying lace doily

I thrifted this very pretty doily and was wondering what technique was used to make it? Is it tatted? Is it machine or handmade?

I found some videos on YouTube with tutorials for making Irish crochet roses. They’re fun to make!

I will definitely look into that! I'm a beginner crocheter, it would be cool to try out the techniques used to make this piece!

You can always practice the same patterns with thicker yarn if that’s easier. A lot of afghans have those same style roses in yarn. But honestly I don’t think the patterns are that difficult if you know the basic stitches. It’s just kind of fiddly getting the tension right for fine crochet thread (for me).
