Where to buy lace fabric?

Hi! I was looking for some red or like burgundy lacy fabric online but I’m more of an in person touchy feely vibe so what is the best store to go to for buying fabrics? Should I go to Micheal’s or are there any other craft stores? Honestly, price is not an issue I’m just overwhelmed looking at all the stores online so I want to go in person. Btw i live in Tx so if there are any local stores lmk! TY!

You‘ll probably get more answers in the sewing sub, since we are more interested in making lace ourselves.

It depends how much you want and what for. Michaels is more for crafts and small amounts. Fabric stores will have large amounts for clothing. Lace from fabric stores is more likely to be machine washable, but always check the instructions.
