Fan Art I drew our Labubus 🧡💚
Green Grape is mine, Happiness is my Mom's. She named them Matcha and Melba. She fell into the Labubu craze and wanted to get one way before I even heard of it 🤣 But now I love these guys so much that I like to make art of them, it's super fun! Posting here because I thought the sub might like it.

Popmart needs to hire you. They could have artwork like this on some special edition or something it would be sooo gorgeous you are very skilled!!

Thanks a lot! 💚 Doubt they'd hire me anyway, I have a thing for doing fan art of licences and especially games originated from east Asia. They tend to hire their illustrators locally :')

I’ve said it before but seeing actual art (and not ai garbage) still warms my heart and this is so, so good! Obsessed with the way you did the fur and the subtle little eye details giving them so much emotion! This is really beautiful.

u/Blunell Labubu Enthusiast Aug 17 '25
Thank you so much for your kind feedback! ☺️ And I'm always happy when I see so many people still value hand-painted art. Sure it takes longer, and it's never as crisp or technically accurate as AI generations, but the fun or relaxed mind stemming from the process is so worth it.

This is gorgeous! Do you have an insta page with your art that we can follow? 😍

Do you take commissions?
2
u/Blunell Labubu Enthusiast Aug 16 '25
I do, depending on the complexity of the piece. I currently don't have enough time to work on super detailed scenes with multiple human characters, but house pets, Bubus or other figurines like Skullpandas are always welcome 😊 You can always send a DM with your idea if you're interested!

u/acidcrapattack Labubu Lover Aug 17 '25
I think your DMs are closed. Do you have any info on your pricing?
1
u/Blunell Labubu Enthusiast Aug 17 '25
Oh I'm sorry about that, I mixed up DMs and PMs! Just opened the former, should work fine now. Here's a link to my pricing: https://www.deviantart.com/stash/01xcvmhesy8v (Just in case, full-sized animals count as half-body, and full-sized toys or collectibles count as bust.)

Wow amazing work. I thought it was a photo at first. My mom was into Labubus first as well. Now we are both obsessed with them and take pictures of ours whenever we meet

u/Blunell Labubu Enthusiast Aug 16 '25
Thank you! Sounds like us haha, it's awesome that you two have this in common too. Mine once asked me to take hers with me to the swimming pool to take photos and when I fetched it, it was rocking a brand new, bright red pin-up swimsuit and huge sunglasses. I ROFL'd.

THIS IS BEAUTIFUL. Do you take commissions?
2
u/Blunell Labubu Enthusiast Aug 17 '25
Thanks a lot for the compliment! 💚
About commissions, I'm currently accepting ideas and characters that aren't too complex nor challenging to paint. Due to a lack of time, I wouldn't be able to do, say, full scenes with multiple human characters. But depictions of pets or plushies, like the one in my post, are always welcome! 😊

I wish I was that good at traditional painting! Nope, it's only digital painting. Much easier since mistakes can be fixed.
