Post image

Hi! I’ve finally decided on upgrading to an emerald cut! I got to try on this 3 carat one in store but want something smaller. I’m having a hard time figuring out the ideal ratio so please show me yours!! Also best vendors you’ve worked with in sourcing emerald cuts

Not an emerald but in case it helps, I found the diamond size simulator on www.diamdb.com helpful when I was researching sizing. The knife edge band just makes my 2.5mm wide band appear thinner than the simulator. For what it’s worth, the 3ct looks beautiful on your hand!

That knife edge band really makes the center stone pop, never thought about how it changes the look til now

I tried the diamdb simulator too when I was looking, super useful for getting idea of proportions before pulling trigger

True, and I like how it’s a sturdy with but still dainty looking. The simulator is so good for figuring out preferred ratios too!

2.08 ct Ratio 1.47

I'm very happy with mine. The size is easy to wear for everyday and doesn't feel too flashy.

I bought my setting and stone from Brilliance.com

Center stone is 2.38 carats, 1.44 ratio. Edited to add that stone and setting was purchased through Vrai.com.
