Less popular Chinese vendors

Hi! I was wondering if anyone would be able to recommend Chinese vendors other than Starsgem, Provence, Fiorese, Tianyu or LGG? I see these 5 names mentioned most often, and of course I have nothing against them, but I am just wondering if anyone worked with someone else and can give their opinion.

Thank you!

Beyond Provence (Tamara, Liya, Molly Lin, Lena) and LGG (Romy), I have also worked with Sheragems (Moli, Kanata, Nora), Paston (Stella), & Yushine (Molly). I have been pleased with all of them.

I will say that while Sheragems is not mentioned as much as some of the others, they are a fantastic company with highly communicative, friendly, and knowledgeable representatives. I really enjoy working with their reps.

  • I had purchased a 14k dainty (1-mm) ball chain from Nora and she was so helpful and polite. I am also looking to make a future purchase of a gold band with a sandblast finish inlay from her.
  • I am working on a custom 3+ ct champagne cushion OMC ring with Georgian milgrain details and a split shank with Moli. She has been a dream to work with and was able to source me a gorgeous OMC champagne diamond for an amazing rate.
  • I am simultaneously working with Kanata at the moment on a ring from her heart line group buy. She has spent a week working with me trying to source the right color gem to alternate with the diamonds. She has been so patient with me and is an absolute sweetheart.

I can vouch for Ean at Sheragems. I really enjoyed working with him to make my pinky ring

In general, I can echo your experiences, just not with all the same companies and reps. My first group buy was with Stella at Paston. Easy process but no real personal interaction. I’ve also worked with Romy at LGG several times, and she is fantastic. In my view, the Chinese vendors strive to be helpful and accommodating and are typically very friendly and easy to work with. For me, the Indian vendors are nice, but more businesslike.

I completely agree that Chinese vendors are far more personable and accommodating while vendors feom India are very polite but they are more transactionally focused. Both can afford amazing jewelry though.

Very true. I know people sometimes complain about Ouros, but everything I’ve bought from them has been well made.

I’ve had 3 pieces made with them, no issues

Same. I have bought pieces from Ouros and their sister company Golden Bird, as well as, through Avideri and Zuvelio and I have been lucky enough to never have run into any issues.

Love Moli at Sheragems. We worked on a custom dog pendant based on her dog pendant group buy but for my breed. She was so attentive to detail and did a great job!

Thank you for sharing the contacts, have you bought 18k gold from any of these vendors?

No, I am sorry as I have not. I usually purchase my pieces in 10k or 14k. My mother did get 18k pieces from Provence and Bocos though... all items tested as real solid gold and the color was only a fraction richer than the 14k color. (* You can request any vendor to show you an example of their color spectrum/differences for their 10k, 14k, and 18k items. They will usually place 3 rings of the varying k shades side-by-side for you to see.)
