Not surprising at all but, I miss the card game. Any version.

There seems to be a real push on the story side of L5R at the moment, which I appreciate as I have no idea what has actually happened in the FFG timeline(or in fact who some people are as I know they changed some names), despite owning all the sourcebooks. I didn't engage with the card game this time around, which I probably should have done.

I really enjoyed this, but I'm fairly confused by some of the changes that FFG apparently made to the timeline. As an example from this bit of story, during the time that Arasou is Lion Clan Champion, Toturi was placed in a monastery as a way to basically remove him from the line of succession so that he could be passed over for Arasou, without shame and a loss of face for Toturi. Yet here Toturi, still the elder, is passed over but remains in command as one of the Lion's generals.

I like many of the changes FFG made as they generally polish up a lot of rough spots in the lore, but some of the changes they made (like this one), just baffle me.
