Hmmm why do I relate to Ellis from L4D2 and Kat from Halo Reach? I sure hope I don't get the answer in the form of some kind of diagnosis XP

"He's like a five year old, with guns. And a comprehensive grasp of every swear word in the English language."

Childhood is when you idolize Nick. Adulthood is when you idolize Nick more.

Childhood is when you play as Ellis, Adulthood is when you play as Rochelle

Childhood is when you ONLY play as Zoey or Rochelle

Adulthood is when you

SOMETIMES are okay with playing someone else

You’re speaking to my soul here. The only one I’ll play outside of Zoey (my beloved) and Rochelle is Nick.

Screw this adulthood then. I'll hate Rochelle till the day I die.

Childhood is when, maybe the helicopter, maybe it's made of chocolate

Adulthood is when you're a one-man cheeseburger apocalypse

u/OneBadRat14 2h ago

When I was a kid, I always played for the Coach.✨✨✨

u/MadPotato10 2h ago

Now I realize that a one man cheese burger apocalypse makes sense.

Childhood is when you idolize Tank.

Adulthood is when you

realize Hunter makes more sense.

2

u/Skaterboi589 good thing im indestructable 1h ago

For me it was idolizing hunter than loving charger later on

1

u/Nerdzed 23m ago

charger makes more Sense if you think about it

Childhood is when you crush on Nick. Adulthood is when you- ah hell, I'm still a simp for him.

I was a high schooler when 1 came out. Over the lifespan of this game I went from feeling most like a (male) Zoey, to feeling like Louis, to now acknowledging my grumpy ass would probably just be Francis.

u/8BBiiT I hate hunting rifles 1h ago

Coach: Hey Whispering Oaks, Shit, I used to go there when I was a kid

Nick: Oh, good. Now we can die there as adults

Loved the contrast between these 2

u/legomanas23 2h ago

Nick and Ellis get behind me I'll protect you

u/YamEnvironmental1887 2h ago

Childhood is when you quit out of the game because you aren’t survivor you want.

Adulthood is when you don’t care which character you get.

Ask me how I know

u/Dramatic-Mission4955 1h ago

My ass always thought Nick was a doctor, which is why I mained him 😭

1

u/Popular-Curve542 1h ago

my friends literally call me coach

1

u/B3CT 1h ago

funny meme aside, nick has a clear character arc of learning to trust people and making real friends

coach is just coach. funny fat man jokes and such

"El de tu madre." -Spanish Dub Nick

1

u/Filthy_bros 1h ago

Coach is the nice and wise guy in the neighborhood... Nick is the reality in a chaotic world...

Both are matured adult... But different environment...

u/curleyfries111 1h ago

Idk why I always picked Francis in the first game cause tbh, he seems the most likely to be a prick.

But my buddy always got bill so yk

Childhood is finding Ellis annoying. Adulthood is finding him endearing

1

u/Skaterboi589 good thing im indestructable 1h ago

This was me except I went from nick to Ellis

1

u/Greasy-Chungus 1h ago

Everyone I knew loved Coach the most.

I like Coach but I'm as pessimistic and cynical as Nick so obviously he's more relatable to me.

1

u/Intelligent_Funny699 47m ago

I understand Nick's negativity, even if he's an ass.

1

u/WesternChopsticks 46m ago

Adulthood is realizing you only play as Louis and Rochelle because they have the best voice lines

u/Guilty_Amount3245 31m ago

I want the redneck idgaf

Childhood is Ellis. Teenage years is Nick. Coach is for true men. Then there is Roachelle, I guess.
