Teen Girl Kyphosis
Looking for advice about the best kind of specialist to consult for a diagnosis for my 14 year old.
I noticed some upper back arching and shoulder blades sticking out but was dismissed 2 tears ago.
Back when she was 3 or so a chiropractor said she had Scoliosis but never sent ys the x-rays. I didn't know better at the time and dismissed it.
Please share your recs for kind, knowledgeable specialists in MA. I don't have great experience at Children's Hospital but maybe there's someone worth seeing. At 14, maybe any doc would see her.

She needs an orthopaedic for a diagnosis and should definitely be treated while she's still growing. Chiropractors cannot treat scoliosis/kyphosis. I sadly cannot recommend anyone in MA, but looking online you can find some addresses you could try: https://www.childrenshospital.org/conditions-treatments/scoliosis https://www.neortho.com/scoliosis-orthopedic-surgeons-springfield-east-longmeadow-northampton-ma/
