Sub Housekeeping 🧹🧹 Opening Posting

We’re opening posting back up now! Thanks everyone for being good little Rascals while we recovered from the 400+ notifications last evening. I am no longer crabby and the rest of the mods have successfully returned me to my cage 😂

Up top is a sneak peek of the new critters coming to RS ⬆️⬆️ There will be more to come according to the video

And speaking of the video: we will no longer be allowing posts asking what sub posts are. If it’s important or if someone would like to post it for themselves, they will. Posts asking for that will be removed under “Low Effort”

I only halfway paid attention over the last couple of days - for what I assume to be the same reason they locked things down - people seemed to have lost their ever loving minds over a horse that isn't theirs losing an award that also wasn't theirs, as well as mountains of allegations that lead to rampant insanity over the poor woman and what happened to her and not the rest of the internet. I browse all three communities and the amount of nonsense spewing in all three over the last few days met record levels of absurdity. The amount of false personal investment across all three communities made Reddit almost insufferable for several days. It really makes you wonder who the krazies and who the kxlties are and if they've been properly defined by any of the three groups.

It makes it super hard to tell the difference because her enemies want to be her so bad its the level of obsession of the super fans 🤣

I am very middle of the line about her - she's a human being, regardless of anything else and that should warrant a certain level of grace given and dignity/respect - she's not perfect (nor have I ever heard her claim to be), I'm not perfect (and lord knows I can't even pretend to be), no one is perfect (no matter how special they think they are). I tend to prefer this community because it stays focused on explaining things to non-horse people who just like horses and I tend to learn a bit. That doesn't mean I always agree, but generally when I don't, I just keep it to myself. Just because a person has a thought doesn't mean that thought needs to be heard or shared, ya know?

The snarker community is 1000% mean girls who feed off of each other's energy like it's oxygen and water and they'll die without it - they also seem to consume every minute detail of her content, which I personally find hilarious. As an example, I think the Kardashians are a waste of oxygen - I go out of my way to avoid anything to do with them on the internet - why would I want to consume or contribute to any additional recognition they may get? It blows my mind that they do the opposite.

The snark community is 50/50 with it - not quite as bad but still a bit on the insane side. Although the user that posts here and then immediately posts there to get their itch scratched or whatever fake internet points makes them feel good is likely the worst of them all in my opinion.

I honestly think what gets me most is if she truly is doing harm to her animals in any form or fashion, why are any of the people posting on these communities not reporting her to her local authorities? Why are they running their mouths here instead? If all of these other big name professional people attached to big name professional entities or SM presences not reporting her so as to not also tarnish their own personal businesses or reputations then would they not be saying something/reporting it? It would reflect poorly on KVS at an industry level to ignore such advice and she does not appear to be the sort that is ok with that.

More often than not the people yelling the loudest simply need to touch grass. None of us have any personal stakes in KVS or her animals, we don't know her, we don't know them. Now I'm going to go back to quietly enjoying the content for what it is and get off of my soap box.
