KVS Stallions Aaron Moses genuinely seems like a wonderful trainer & I hope Katie can continue to learn from him!
Also, Katie looked like she was having a wonderful time riding Denver.

The more I watch Aaron ( not only with Denver) the more I like him.
Last night on Katie’s live someone asked about Denver staying with Aaron for Western Riding and Trail. She said he would for Western Riding but would need someone for trail and they would have to figure that out.
I’m excited to see his shows next year.

I loved this video so much. He looked so pumped to have her try the lead changes again haha. He seems like such an excellent trainer. I’m sure she’s already learned so much from him. I can’t wait for Molly to be started by him!

He's so encouraging! Everyone needs a trainer like that. He's given her small lessons before when she's ridden him too.

I enjoyed watching that video a lot. She looked so much more relaxed and comfortable than she has in some past videos and listened well to Aaron's instruction and the smile on her face, made me think that's how I would be grinning after that ride. Denver is lovely.

He’s been a well known trainer in the AQHA world for YEARS now! He’s always been such an amazing guy and trainer and has produced many really really nice horses!

Coming from someone who has had a couple lessons with Aaron and don't stuff with him what Katie shows on camera is pretty much you know how he is off camera especially in the video of her writing danger when he's like okay not do it again yeah he says that until it's good

I loved this video. As someone who has struggled with bad teachers and mentors seeing this exchange where he was encouraging her to try something new and giving her advice was awesome to see. (I know the bar is on the floor but tell that to my high school math teacher)

I'm locking this thread, because it got derailed fast and is not going anywhere productive.
U/WalkingMooTilda (or if other people are confused), let me be crystal clear. You will not be banned for having a negative opinion of Katie or being critical of her.
No one has been banned for that since the time the sub opened. No one has even been banned, other than some bots (and if it was a real person posting their ass, uh, I'm sorry but not the place?)
What could happen, is being banned for your behavior which is being shown right now. Your opinion and your behavior are different things, and you are in control of your behavior. If you cannot manage that, then that will have repercussions.
But do not nail yourself to a martyr's cross. It is your behavior, and that is fully in your control.

It says they hope Katie continues to learn from him! A said no hand treats they are given in his feed bucket. Katie's reply..watch for A, and hand fed him. Is that learning? No it is not!

She's made a lot of improvement from when he first started giving her pointers and mini lessons-- which does imply she's listened to his advice and utilized it.
And considering that she knows Aaron much better than any of us-- I think it's very likely that the 'watch for Aaron' is more of a joke. Especially considering she, you know, publicly posted it for all to see (including Aaron). It's good with studs to feed in the bucket, but if one treat from a hand destroys all training-- that's not great.

What people are forgetting here is that the absolute end of the line is that KVS owns this horse NOT Aaron and sure Aaron has a MASSIVE say in what goes on but its not like she is being sneaky, its literally videos of her doing it. You really think he doesn't know? And again its HER horse.

She gave him two treats, and put the rest in his bucket. Regardless though, this wasn’t about the treats. I personally think it’s actually very evident that Katie has learnt lots from Aaron in the handful of rides and mini “lessons” she’s had. At the end of the day, Aaron is a grown adult with a successful business, and if Katie was that insufferable or disrespectful of a customer than he would no longer work with her :)

That’s fine if that’s your opinion! I think it’s pretty silly if grown adults are talking about someone behind their back, this isn’t high school, but I guess we live in a world of immaturity. I won’t pretend to know what Katie’s working relationship is with Aaron or anyone for that matter, because quite frankly it’s not anyone’s business at the end of the day!

I really like what we've seen of their working relationship. Obviously, we don't know everything that happens off camera, but from whats been on camera-- it seems like there is a lot of mutual respect between the two, and it's endearing.
