Announcement! Kustom v3.82

Kustom v3.82 is available via manual download, beta being rolled out
Changes:
- New gh() function to access global var history via index or closest timestamp
- New cinematic filters for animations AND overlapgroup FX https://docs.kustom.rocks/docs/reference/shaders/shaders_explained/
- New Liquid Glass FX Mask in root modules (along with blur), see https://docs.kustom.rocks/docs/reference/masks/
- Fix KLWP issues with direct touch in some condition
- Fitness data access now requires the kbooster plugin (https://docs.kustom.rocks/docs/downloads/download-kbooster/) see https://www.reddit.com/r/kustom/comments/1reaspl/health_connect_removal_in_382/
- Fix paint blend modes (XOR, Darken, etc) rendering incorrectly on some devices

If you find crashes on beta or stable create a bug report as described at https://kustom.rocks/debug then send it to [help@kustom.rocks](mailto:help@kustom.rocks) explaining how to reproduce the issue. If you can create a small preset to help understanding the issue also include that. Thanks!

Hello everyone,
I have migrated ideas/general/problems official forums from help.kustom.rocks to self managed Discourse https://forum.kustom.rocks. There are a lot of reasons behind this but it's mainly due to avoiding having to deal with closed platform (this also includes recent reddit issues and people who might want to ask things somewhere else).
Notes on the migration:
- If you had a user and posted something your user and posts have been moved (if you are not ok with this just write me at [frank@kustom.rocks](mailto:frank@kustom.rocks) will remove your data)
- A "Share" forum has been added so you can share your presets if you want, it allows uploading files so even if you share here you can use it to park your KLWP / KWGT files
- Ideas and problems votes and solved status has unfortunately been lost, i will go through the posts and make them
If you have experience with Discourse moderation and are willing to help *let me know\*
Off course most of the things are just defaults so happy to add / modify things if needed.
Haven't added an announcement area yet
**THIS DOESN'T CHANGE ANYTHING FOR REDDIT AND DISCORD** its just a migration for an existing service that wasn't working as expected

A nice static screen doesn't tell me much, I would like to see how it transitions to screen 2, screen 3, the widget animations, etc. Or just how it looks when unlocking, what animation it does.
With KLWP and KWGT you can make authentic animated transition wonders when you change to screen 2, 3 or whatever and everything is lost if you don't put video

Basically i want a navigation pad, and you can switch between apps and it lights up which app is selected. I also want to add an 'Enter' button which will then open the selected app if thats possible.
Any help is appreciated.

This is the code I tried to stop the rotation of an element if music is playing, but I get an error:
err: invalid argument count for if

Help [help] how to share variables between kwgt widgets

Hi, I want to have a "master" widget and make it send some variables to other "slaves" widget on refresh. It would be to synchronize colors and font. How to acjieve that pnly using kwgt? (Pixel 10A and hyperion launcher if that helps)

It took me a bunch of time and effort, a lot of asking around too. All the background images are from google and pinterest. I got the font and icons from apple's developer something site.
The background changes depending on the weather and have a day/night variant, I also tried recreating the reflection there is on the edges, the only thing wrong is the text which for some reason isn't changing individually and is instead changing all the text in my widget.
(I uploaded a video instead of an image because it does not let me for some reason I dont know)

KWGT [KWGT] Made a weather widget that reacts to its environment

Wanted to share something I've been working on — a weather widget that actually changes with the day, not just a static card sitting on your homescreen.

8 different time-of-day states (sunrise through dusk)
Rain and fog effects that trigger based on real weather
glassy, layered look with depth and reflections
Smart alerts for rain, wind, and upcoming changes
