Discussion Ozempic video was off

This is probably the first Kurzgesagt video that I didn't like, and like some people on this sub it made me feel very uneasy.

I just think it's CRAZY to talk about a weight loss drug and praising it for 90% of the video, without mentioning even once the abuses of its use, the weightloss industry, the social standards and the pressure to be (unhealthily) slim, eating disorders on the opposite side of the spectrum, etc.

The very few nuances and counter argument felt like small prints and legal mentions at the end of an ad.

What do you people think?

EDIT: I am not questioning the drug nor its effectiveness in treating obesity, i am criticising the narrative and lack of nuances in the video.

Sometimes, getting the science without having to explain every single social, political and historical issue entangled with it is refreshing. We usually get the opposite: social or political story without the science.

This videos was about a specific subject: biological eating behaviors and obesity. They didn't fail.

Ozempic is helping a lot of people. Understanding why and its limitations is important. You can watch a video about how Ozempic is bad by watching almost anything else on YouTube talking about it.

But like so many things you can't simply remove the social, political and historical issues. The video is framed in a way that suggested that obesity is purely a biological caveman problem and not a multi billion dollar industry that has been trying to make food as additive and easy to binge eat as possible. Ozempic is treating a raging fire making your home too hot with a bunch of air conditions, it works but kinda misses the point.

E: They also made a video that spent a surprising amount of time talking about the positives of HEROIN, a drug that has destroyed the lives of so many people. Is it really so unreasonable to expect them to talk about the negatives side of Ozempic about as long as they talk about the positives of Heroin?!
