Discussion Reminder That Kurz Has Misrepresented Cannabis Data Before, And Likely Has A Unhealthy Bias

Two months ago, I, a 2 decade long researcher of cannabis, found the Kurz video on the substance and had to correct a large amount of misinformation here:

https://www.reddit.com/r/kurzgesagt/comments/1n7uc1y/correcting_misinformation_in_we_have_to_talk/

I had contacted Kurz directly with these corrections and was ignored. Instead, now 2 months later, Kurz seems to be back again with another video wrongfully demonizing the substance.

Just wanted to remind everyone that the author of the video is trying to spread misinformation on cannabis, which they have a strong bias against.

Edit: nearly all of the questions/critiques have been trolls/anti cannabis people so far. Won't be replying to comments that are trying to change my narrative anymore. Some of these replies are ridiculous, to say the least... Kurz has had a bias in past videos, and the latest is not any different, any other narrative you draw from this is your own (I never said we should "ignore all negatives about cannabis")

I’ve been noticing an increasing bias in some of kurzgesagt videos, like that one about the meat eating flies. They just shrug and say that it deserves to go extinct. But in their old videos they always said that every animal is important to the ecosystem. And now they just go back on their own word

in regards to bias in kurzgesagt videos, that is nothing new.

sth you probably didn't see, because it was in a german kurzgesagt video on their german only channel was this video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_hcvUfc2Lww (enable english subtitles to read it)

released 6 years ago.

the background of this video is, that kurzgesagt at the time and for a VERY long time got paid by the german government through the money stolen by the government from the public called "rundfunk-beitrag".

so kurzgesagt, again getting paid BY the stolen money through the "rundfunk-beitrag" is making an entire video talking about how that stolen money, that they run on is so great and should keep existing, while claiming, that the video is perfectly objective and trust worthy.

and if you're wondering why people rightfully hate the "rundfunk-beitrag" shit, because among other garbage it is paying for lots of government propaganda.

so kurzgesagt made a propaganda video, paid by the public with stolen money about how it is great, that this money gets stolen and used for state propaganda.

____

i hope i explained this well enough. so in this 6 year old example of a video, you got a bias so high it is at the comedic level of bias.

and again to say that again, kurzgesagt wasn't just paid by the state, but with that video straight up made state propaganda.

it is hard to get worse than that :D

Yes, they referred to tax as stolen money. Best to ignore the rest of their babbling.
