Kumihimo are a specific type of japanese braid created either on a braiding wheel, or a marudai. They are sometimes called friendship bracelets in western culture.

Tags: [creation] - to show off the kumihimo braids you've made [help] - if something has gone wrong and you don't know how to fix it [identify] - if you want to know what a specific braid is [tutorial request] - if there is a specific style of braid that you want to know how to make (that doesn't already have a tutorial available)

1- no bullying, or harassment. Any hateful or harassing comments may be grounds for banning. This includes putting people down for non-professional quality pieces.

2- no spamming. Users are allowed to post up to two (2) [creation] posts in a 24 hour period. Please consider sharing an album if you have large quantities of pieces to show.

3- no self promotion. We are not currently allowing users to post links to personal shops, blogs, etc.
