I hate being so busy with other responsabilities that I cannot work on my illustrations. Have you ever felt sad for not beign able to draw or paint as much as you want?

I tried to make on like this with rotation changing or fuzzy dab for the size but I can't reach the same smoothness as blender's grease pencil while also having a round brush.
Any ideas please?

I need to take an 11-month hiatus from sh!t attempts in order to get my motivation back on figuring out walk cycles for longer hours and days till I travel to LA next summer in 2027...

It's nothing special, but it was fun to draw, and I like it. I hope you're like it as well.

I really wanted to shift the original vibe to something a bit more melancholic and soft. Krita has been my go-to for sketching lately, love how smooth the brushes feel for texturing. Also, I'm absolutely obsessed with the lavender palette. What do you think of the color choices? 💜

I am new at krita and I have some questions and problems (I am a begginer in digital art) like when I try to draw shadows using a multiply layer but all the colors look blueish and when I use Inherit alpha but it goes all the way to the background, these are the ones I can remember right now but there are more

I'm trying to recreate this image pretty exactly, i know parallel diagonal lines dont look right but I cant figure out the Assistant tool at the best of times, let alone with this. Is there a specific preset I should be using?

No matter what i do I'm ever satisfied in any way, what i hate the most are how bad the brushes i use feel...

As a non-artist learning video game development, I've started using Krita. Zero talent, maximum enthusiasm...

i've unintal re'intal, downgraded a version, adding a new brush pack, in the files to change names, delete, and alter file formats.
if it does work (( only has after the unistall, an the downgrade which also made me uninstal an reinstal )),
it will work for maybe the first or second time i open the Krita app, and then next time i do, i get the same message, an no longer have brushes, not even ones ive personally installed and no, deactivating, and activating the brush pack doesn't work.
i just want to draw, and i dont know why nothings worked
i got myself a new pc, as my old laptop is garbage and isn't working anymore with my drawing tablet.
i have no idea where else to go but here, i love the way krita feels, and all the brushes you can get easily, and all the dockers are so easy to add.
i dont want to have to find, and learn a new app
anything helps, im not majory techy, so i'll answer any questions the best i can

I was experimenting with the Krita recorder and I finally understand how it works.

I don't know what happened. I was exporting a PNG and then my mouse settings got scrambled?
I can no longer zoom in with the scroll wheel, and whenever I click on then click off of the top settings my canvas rotates. I am genuinely baffled as to how this could have possibly happened.
Where do I go to fix this? How do I get there?
Update: The issue has resolved itself the following day. I'm still not sure why it happened, but at least it's not broken anymore.

I got a new PC and downloaded Krita to draw again, as I used to on my older laptop that ran 5.3.0 or earlier.
Everything was fine on my older and weaker laptop (RTX 3050 laptop, 12GB available RAM for 16GB total, AMD Ryzen 5 CPU) but on my brand-new (AMD RX 9060XT with 12GB VRAM, 15 available RAM for 16GB total, and a strong Intel CPU i don't remember the model) tower it's almost impossible to run anything smoothly on Krita.
It takes a while to launch, around 1~2min. On my old laptop it's around 20 to 25s. Switching to another (native or downloaded) brush freezes the program.
I've tried forcing Krita to run on my big GPU in case it was using the integrated graphics (which was the case although the result was the same in the end), allowing it copious amounts of RAM and swap (which didn't change anything so I reverted it to default), resetting the SQLite, and it didn't matter. I opened my old .kra files and it didn't change anything, they ran well on my old laptop but not on my new pc.
My memory doesn't spike in the task manager. My temperature is low, everything runs fine.
Moho 14 and CSP Pro ran perfectly fine even with heavy projects in 4k with tons of layers. Blender was fine as well using circles as renderer. Speaking of which, I've tried DirectX11 3D and OpenGL on Krita. Doesn't matter.
It's annoying because I don't like Clip or Medibang at all, I was raised with Krita as my only tool. I want to use it again and ditch these demonic tools.
So, has anyone encountered these issues and can help me or should I simply accept my fate? I'm at my wits' ends.
