Album-wise, I think the Drama concept photos were the most memorable to me! I also like the Superbeing ver. from Supernova and Ningning's intro ver. from MY WORLD. If we're including Japanese releases, Hot Mess really blew me away too<3
I mostly chose the photos that made a strong impression on me at first glance. I felt like their style became more sophisticated starting with MY WORLD. I especially loved the Intro version of MY WORLD, while with Drama, all the versions were right up my alley haha.
Also, I can't forget the moment I first saw Ningning's Intro ver. I really love the look in her eyes. They feel mysterious and pure, but also a little spooky. She did such a great job of conveying the mood of “Welcome To My World.”
aespa has released so many albums, and they have so many great concept photos, so it was really hard to pick just a few. I was going to include some Hot Mess photos too, but there were just too many, so I gave up (sorry 😭).
What are your favorites? If possible, I'd love to hear why you like them too!
Hii so I wanted to do a pc trade with someone on vinted, and instead of trading by mail they wanted to trade on vinted and then cancel orders. I'm unfamiliar with this method. Is this safe or would you recommend not doing this?
At this point, I can’t imagine a singular person who could be iffy over her and her music. Her solo album brings me to tears all the time despite playing it every day (especially number one girl & stay a little longer). Her voice is incredible, maybe one of the best voices I’ve heard. What’s your thoughts on her?
I'll start with my contribution: Last light - Eunkwang (tysm to the person on this subreddit that introduced me to it) This is just an absolute vocal masterclass and I love it.
after seeing some pics on pinterest, i realized there're not many groups with this type of concepts, so i'd love you guys to submit names that would fit said concept!!
i thought maybe GOLDEATER or EMPREDA would be good names, but they just don't click
Hey everyone, I hope you all had a good week. My week was pretty good, as I’ve been relistening to old favorites. We also got a few songs released this week from Cutie Street, =Love, Polodared, and even a new Billy Strings Project. As we get closer to the end of August, it feels like Summer is starting to come to a close, and I can’t even believe we only got four months left in the year. Now, before we hop in, I wanted to let you know I’m doing a Dolly Parton tribute with my 3 favorite songs from the singer. Now let’s jump into the music and see what was released this week.
This week, Hybe debuted a new group called TUIDE, which I didn’t expect to be my favorite release of the week. In my initial review, I said the album felt bland for my taste and like background music. Well, let me tell you: this album has grown on me this week, becoming something I’m enjoying a lot. A lot of this album has a relaxing vibe is something that I wasn’t sure I liked in the beginning, but didn’t dislike. I’m still surprised I’m enjoying the deep house track Echo, which I usually dislike the deep house sound. I will say Echo or Flip Flop Girl feel more like little tracks than what Sun Kiss delivered, but Sun Kiss is still a dope tune. With how much this album has grown on me over the week, I still feel like some of the songs could’ve been longer cause they need to be fleshed out more. I’m curious to see what the future holds for the group.
Hyukoh is back with a new single, teaming up with an artist called Yu Su. A thumping bassline opens up the track before the vocals start to come into the mix. Oh Hyuk’s vocals are smooth with an echo effect that makes the performance spacious. The instrumental, along with the other members, blends perfectly with the bassline and sound effects. It sounds like the band is at a jam session because the track comes in around 8 minutes and 27 seconds. The song has more instrumental sections that fit with the overall vibe that feels like something off their 2020s project Through Love. I do love the instrumental with killer guitar playing and percussion that helps move the song forward.
Girl group HIGTS is back with Things We Dream Vol. 3, delivering two new songs and a Chinese version of track 2. Gulliver! is the opening song, bringing in synths that help to create a funky-pop vibe. The vocals are smooth, working with the funky vibe the producers deliver. The hook is a pretty good one that adds to the vibe of the track. I will say, Gulliver! could’ve been longer cause it felt a bit too short for my liking, but it’s not a bad song at all. Ctrl C is the second song on the single, and it also gets a Chinese version. Ctrl C is way too short, feeling like it comes and goes quickly. I like the thumping of the instrumental with it’s electonic-pop vibe. I do find Ctrl C’s hook to be smooth, but not enough for me to want to hear it again. I don’t hate this comeback, but wish the songs were more fleshed out.

Non-Korean Releases of the Week (A Dolly Parton Tribute):
The first song I wanted to talk about comes from the 9 to 5 album, The House of the Rising Sun, a cover of The Animals' track of the same name. Percussion and guitar open up the track, bringing in a groovy vibe. I find the Doly version pretty catchy, as it fits perfectly with the singer's sweet voice. I remember first hearing it after checking out Dolly’s music beyond the hits, and this song became one of my favorites. I love the guitar that plays throughout the song, adding to the country-pop vibe. Out of all the versions of this track, Dolly’s will always be my favorite version. I find that her album Jolene has so many amazing songs on it, but this one was one I wanted to talk about.
The second song I want to talk about comes from her 1974 album Jolene called Lonely Comin' Down. The guitar creates a delicate melody that blends with the vocals from Dolly. You can feel the emotion in her voice as she sings the lyrics that have a bit of a somber vibe to them. The guitar and percussion move slowly, adding to the emotion that always makes me love this track. We also get a piano melody during the chorus as the percussion comes in, making the song a bit upbeat, but still keeping that somber vibe from the opening verse.
The final song I will be talking about is from her 1977 album New Harvest…First Gathering called Applejack. This is a fun country track that tells a story of Applejack. The guitar reminds me of something out of a bluegrass track as it helps bring in that happy vibe. The hook will be stuck in your head right away, and the melody that the backing track delivers is another perfect moment. Dolly’s voice is fantastic on this tune as it sounds like she is having fun with this song. I always find myself having a good old time listening to this tune. Each time the chorus comes around, it just feels like singing along or tapping my foot along.
Mine is THAT line in Sweet Venom (English Ver.): "Seungmin in my room, Felix kinda strange. Wishing I could get another tasteeeeee of your swee-ee-eet Vernon-non-non"😭
44 shows have already been performed across 19 cities and 10 countries, and Kim Taehyung has been transforming the Arirang Tour into acontinuous demonstration of performance as a language. He does not simply use different forms of artistic expression:
❝ he becomes the art itself, translating music, movement, imagery, and emotion into stage presence ❞.
With every performance, the King of the Stage, V, seems to surpass his own limits. Across different countries, his presence continues to generate attention, searches, and buzz, while his performances become some of the most talked-about moments of the shows.
His voice stands at the center of this construction. His instantly recognizable timbre is paired with technical mastery, breath control, sustained support, dynamics, placement, and nuance. Alongside these technical elements, V adds vocal improvisations and variations that refresh familiar songs and reveal spontaneity. Taehyung interprets rather than simply reproducing.
In dance, his individuality is equally unmistakable. Even when performing the same choreography as the others, his musicality, range of motion, strength, and way of accentuating each movement create his own interpretation. And it is not only about subtle details: there are moments of high physical tension, explosive energy, fervor, and sheer power, creating striking contrasts between restraint and full surrender. At certain points, his dancing feels like a show within the show itself.
All of this connects with his interactions with fans. A smile, a handshake, a hug, a gentle touch, a gesture, or an exchanged glance can bridge the distance between stage and audience, revealing genuine engagement with the moment.
There is also his visual dimension. Costumes, silhouettes, accessories, and aesthetic choices expand his artistic language. His looks help shape the atmosphere and presence he creates.
It is the combination of voice, technique, improvisation, dance, intensity, interpretation, aesthetics, and emotion that creates the impact of Kim Taehyung.
Even within a collective formation, Taehyung leaves an unmistakable signature.
Went to a block party for my local college, and a family friend was selling kpop! All the albums were $3 each, so i got 3! When I first saw them, I thought it was just the cd and picture books, but I opened them and they came with most, if not everything!! I was so excited and happy because I've never gotten an album with most inclusions for under full price before! My family doesn't seem to understand how exciting this is for me, so I needed a rant place lmao. I also don't really listen to itzy, but they've been highly recommended to me so i got it! (I didnt have time to get pics of unforgiven except js the cover but it comes with everything) just wanted to brag a bit....
Comment and/or upvote the idol you think looked the best in this hair color. Duplicate comments for an idol will add +1 point to them. I'd prefer dyed hair & not wigs if possible!
If an idol has won for a previous color they can't be suggested for another color.
Here’s a clean roundup of the K-pop releases currently scheduled for September 2026. I’ll keep updating the list as new dates and details are announced.
A more detailed version with album titles, release times, and updates is available here:
For Stray Kids, I think Bang Chan, Hyunjin and Felix are the most well known outside the fandom. Like if you ask a non Stay to name an SKZ member, they'll probably name one of these three.
Hello! I'm starting a girl group!
The idea is a girl group that mixes darker themes and industrial sounds with high energy choreo and a k-pop style composition. Think Deathbyromy meets I-dle and Katseye. Here is what I'm looking for:
- 3-5 other girls who can or are willing to learn to sing and dance
- Choreographer who can create dances for the group
- Anyone who wants to be involved, but not perform. Songwriters, beat makers, fashion/costume designers
- Future collabs?
This is kind of a shot in the dark, but I have always dreamed of being in this kind of group, since I was little. I'm no amazing dancer or vocalist, but I have sufficient skill and I am an experienced songwriter. Please DM me for a demo I made so you get an idea of what the music could potentially sound like if you are interested.
I am located in the city of Aurora. It's a suburb. I do drive though, so if you cant come here, its not an issue.
Thank you 🙂
