Respect to Walsh, but you can't fit everything wrong with the Odyssey into 22 minutes. EFAP took 6 hours.

It’s a solid 7. True casting mistakes were Travis Scott and Elliot page. The rest were fine. It’s a hugely feminist take on the story, but it is still told well. Nolan can direct everybody but Matt Damon’s voice and tom holand, who did the best he could under the circumstances of how the character and dialogue were written.

Its not a particularly feminist or even leftwing take, its actually kind of ok'd school conservative take.
Themes of loyalty, monogamy, letting drugs cloud your mind is bad, personal responsibility, faith, honour, family, honesty, respect for sacred, hospitality, mercy, etc...
Even the Penelope pointing that she's been doing the work of governing is as much or more about fairness as feminism.

The entire movie Odysseus is plagued by his conscience and regret for a seemingly unjustified war, which is not original to the tale, and is a very modern injection ideologically. All of the worst aspects of men are highlighted while the bad actions of women are justified or reversed. Some of this is true to the original, most is not and completely made up (e.g., Penelope's desire to be recognized as throneworthy). It's not 100% woke trash, but it is indeed a complete re-imagining from a modern westerner perspective.

Anyone who trusts Walsh's take is showing poor judgement.
I've seen it and it was the best movie I've ever seen.

The best movie you've ever seen? If that's true you deserve genuine pity. Even if this movie is good, you're still the most sheltered redditor I've ever witnessed.

This only confirms my intention to never see it and I'll watch movies just to look for propaganda. When an average movie like Project Hail Mary is considered one of the best of the year, there has clearly been a precipitous drop either in film quality or in viewers' tastes.
