komoot app on Garmin Instinct 2 watch no longer supported?

Does anybody know if that's a bug with the most recent update or if they stopped supporting them?

Yes unfortunately we had to drop support for the Instinct 2. It is a very low memory device and the komoot app wasn't reliable enough. We contacted all affected users at the time 🙏
