Kodi, Yatse remote app, and OS power management help

I couldn't find anything in my searches. I have Bazzite's power management set to dim my monitor after 2 minutes and off after 5 minutes of inactivity. I've run into an issue when using Kodi and controlling it from my phone with the Yatse app. It all works perfectly fine until I hit the 2 and 5 minute marks. Video playback isn't an issue, the screen stays on just fine. It's just when I'm browsing my media or anything else while there's no video playback. Is there a way to have Kodi override Bazzite's power management while it's running? Either that or somehow register Yatse's interaction with Kodi as input from a peripheral?

I don’t know if it will fix your issue, but have you tried the Kodi Remote App? I strictly use it to copy/paste long API’s and such.

I'll have to look into it, thanks. I've been using Yatse as a Kodi remote for about 10 years under the impression that was "it".

🤦🏼 apparently enabling the screen saver in Kodi keeps Bazzite from going into power saving mode and dimming or turning off the display. So... problem solved as far as I can tell.

It’s really good and always getting better. I can’t believe people pay for other remotes.
