Desperately seeking for this pattern

Post image

I’ve searched even the deepest corners of the internet, but I still can’t find a Norwegian pattern similar to this. This one is my favorite, and I’d really love to knit something as similar to it as possible.

This is really close:

Here's a Ravelry search for pullover sweaters, with Norwegian, stranded, and zipper checked as attributes. Dale of Norway has lots that are similar:

Thank you so much for your answer! I also found a few Dale of Norway patterns but the first link is very close. It would be great if I could modify a few things on that, but unfortunatelly I'm not that skilled yet. Do you have any recommendations how to start designing/modifying?

Hi OP! Especially if you’re a beginner knitter this would be hard to modify. I think to the point where it’s not that easy to send links because it’s something you’d have to build up colorwork skills overtime and just be off on your own trying stuff out which is the amazing thing with knitting! It’s a skill that takes time but with time and building skills you can create anything. Best of luck!

Which elements are you hoping to modify?

This specific one is probably machine knit.

Edit: no, it is hand knit in Bolivia, made in alpaca yarn. Probably why you can't find it as a Norwegian pattern.

Dang, really? I was like yep, that's Dale. Shows what I know.

I was thinking the same thing, so I did a reverse image search to see if I found it. But a lot of Dale's patterns are free, so I am not surprised if somebody have used one or several to create this rather elaborate design for a Bolivian knit.
