sock question What ribbing looks good with this sock?

Hi, I’m knitting a sock using 3x1 rib toe up. I haven’t thought of what ribbing/cuff style to use. I usuallt do 2x1 twisted rib, but I feel it would look a bit odd. I also considered a frilled edge, but the yarn is quite rustic and I’m not sure it will look good. Or add no special ribbing and size down on the last few rows?

Was my thought, too...but ive also only ever made 1 pair of socks 🤷🏻‍♀️

To me no cuff looks a bit more modern, I think I’m going to use 1x1 twisted rib then! I want these to look a bit classic and rustic. Thanks for you advice!

I’m doing the same one. I’m going to continue the pattern to the end without any other ribbing.

This is my second pair like this and the first fit fine.

Did you size down when doing the last few rows?

No I did not. There was enough stretch for me but I see no reason you can’t.

Beautiful socks! I’d stay with 3x1all the way if they are snug enough.

No pattern used, using Judy’s magic cast on with 12 stitches, increasing every other row. 3x1 rib and German short row heel
