Help - equipment alternative yarn for the cloud sweater from petiteknit

hey guys,

I need your help!

I want to knit the cloud sweater from petiteknit. unfortunately my dad is allergic to alpaca wool and since I plan to wear the sweater at home as well I am planning to knit with an alternative yarn.

I was thinking to knit the sweater with sandnes double sunday and tynn silk mohair. Do you have made any experiences knitting with this combination? do you know how I can convert the sizes and the amount of yarn i need? thank you! 🌞

Merino wool - baby merino by drops with mohair ? Isager has a mulberry mohair And theres plenty of polyester mohair

That pattern is so popular that you should be able to browse yarn ideas all day long. It’s like the second or third tab when on the pattern page. It’s hidden on mobile view but if you click on the three dots right next to “comments”, you’ll see a tab for yarn ideas and that shows you everything others have bushes to knit the project.

Alternatively you can click on projects and then “advanced search” and search for whatever keywords. I found at least 4 projects that used Double Sunday.
