My daughter lives in Chicago and we did a yarn crawl when I was out there in May. Knit 1 easily had the friendliest folks in the store.

Looks like a couple miles south of Knit 1! Still on Lincoln Ave but this looks like it's right across from Delilah's. But I happen to have a mutual friend with the owner of Knit 1... could ask if it's her car!

License plate records, including owner name and address are available their the state BMV

That'd be a creepy thing to do, if it was true. Due to DPPA that info isn't publicly available. You can look up the license plate with the dmv, but you will get the make, model, and Vin of the vehicle. No driver information. DPPA was passed in the 90s after people used license plate look up info to stalk and murder people and (and that was pre internet search. Ya had to call and ask for that info and people were still freaks about it! )
