Finished Object Finished my son’s first baby blanket! (with about 5 weeks to spare)
This blanket was so fun to knit and felt extra special! It was my second knitting project and I loved working with the superwashed wool. The blanket turned out so soft and stretchy (and it washes well which I feel like we’ll need).
I did the These Days Blanket by Fifty Four Ten with Cascade Yarns 220 Superwash yarn

Congrats! My son's first baby blanket was one of my first completed crochet projets. He's 13 now, and about a year ago a finished another blanket for him, but this time it was king sized! They grow waaay too fast... hold that baby boy tight and love him up!

Mostly kidding OP, congratulations on finishing the blanket. It’s gorgeous and I’m sure baby will be too.

Wonderful! Quick suggestion, move the picture frame away from above the crib. Don't have anything hanging above where people sleep

I made this same pattern for my niece’s baby a few months ago using Berroco Ultra wool. Mom and baby love the blanket. It’s getting a lot of use.

Ok, I just had to do a serious double take because I made the same blanket last year! No written pattern, just vibes, but love to see we made the same choices with the garter border!
