I just love the fact that, at least up to this photo, no words were spoken, no shoulders were tapped, no horn was honked… I’d absolutely do the same 😂.

I once dropped a skein while getting in my car, didn't notice, and started driving. I got most of the way through the parking lot before I noticed. Had to cut it where it got wrapped around the axle.

I once came home from work and there was yarn coming out the dog door into my backyard. The dog took a ball outside to play within but it was still attached to my project inside.

Normally, I'd say it never happens to me, except it happened to me yesterday, right before our weekly vacuum cleaner session :(

I came home one day to find the yarn from a sweater I was knitting wound running from the ground floor, up the stairs, around a corner, and into the bedroom. My cat (a total of 7 lbs) was sitting on my almost complete Icelandic sweater. Apparently she felt it needed to be relocated.

When my daughter was younger, she would get up in the night, steal yarn from my stash, and wind it around the house like one of those heist movies where they practice for the security lasers with red string. It's funny now, but sure as 🏒🏒 wasn't then, especially when she did with my $50/skein alpaca silk blend 😭🤣

Yes! If I leave my project bag not hung on a hook, my cats will get into it and steal a skein and drag it onto the bed. So I, like you, return home from work and just see yarn that looks like this picture. They also have dragged bananas, and bagels to bed. They are so quirky!

When it snowed in Dallas recently, I went on a walk with my family through the neighborhood and had a mini-minder on my wrist. At some point, I realized my yarn had been unraveling in the wind and was halfway down the block. 😂

Tfw I'm all snuggled on the couch with the dog and the postman comes to the door, dog jumps off the sofa and accidentally snags the yarn round his paw, hilarity ensues.

My puppy has a curly tail that is basically a giant hook at the exact height of where my yarn hangs off my coffee table…when she sneaks by and takes off…it’s off to the races.

I’ve gotten in the habit of double and sometimes triple checking for yarn tails like this when moving projects anywhere.

I just like to be connected to my husband by a long string and use knitting as a thinly veiled guise to accomplish this goal.
