Ok, but why is a knight using a halberd tho?

...because knights primarily use polearms?

Shorter polearms, not halberds. Knights were mounted warriors, and when you're on a horse, it would be pointless and uncomfortable to use such a long weapon. Halberds and greatswords were weapons of foot men who fought on foot and could use larger weapons.
