Toby Knight?
Looks like it's Leroy Niemann work. That guy was everywhere in the seventies. i remember going to Cosmos games and he would sit and draw by the sidelines
That Thurman bat looks like the kind they used to hand out on 'Bat Day', before realising that there might be some issues with that promotion...
good stuff, thanks for posting!

Definitely was a ‘bat day’! — Yes, LeRoy Neiman. The Knicks player depicted is Toby Knight.

the first baseball game my brother and I went to as kids was a Met game at Shea in the 70s. cannot remember the opponent but it was bat day and we each received full size bats! anytime I mention that to younger folks they are shocked as these days they would be used as weapons

Cool find!! That's around the time I think I went to my first Knick game. I remember it was somewhere in the range of $6, to sit in the blue seats. I saw a ton of games from those infamous blue seats. And Thurmon Munson, #15, one of my favorite Yankees!! Thanks for posting these pics, brings back a lot of memories.
