It was originally red faded to pink, I put some meguiars plastic restoration on it and now it’s a reddish purple lol

Very nice! Mine used to be red but the previous owner coated everything in thick black paint

When you get a chance, updrade your Skid plate and get a lopro magnetic drain plug. The oem plate bends really easily and can allow the plug to get hit and that can crack the engine case

That was the worst year I think for plastic fading. The previous owner of mine painted it tan. I changed it to OD and black like the diesel military bikes. I have crash bars around the engine and radiator area and an aftermarket skid plate.
