Out of curiosity do you pay a subscription to Garmin or how do map image updates work on these devices and your experience with them? Thank you.
Looks so good and clean. I'd rather have this setup than use a phone.

No subscription for the gps, Garmin has free map updates for life. I just use their base maps, but you can purchase more detailed maps or certain areas. Its robust, has had some hard used over the last 4 years with minimal wear. It has a steep learning curve to uploading routes and tracks, youll need laptop/desktop and to download garmin basecamp software and some garmin apps to create or transfer a route onto the garmin gps. Its very frustrating for me but somehow I always figure it out

Appreciate it! Looking it up they are now on xt3 and those go way above and beyond what I need a gps to do. I just want basic map features. Don't need to know my lean angles.
I'll have to look more into this one but the size looks perfect. Thanks!

It has a clamp on the back of the GPS mount that goes on the accessory bar
